Ken grew up in extreme poverty. His mom had a severe mental illness, resulting in ongoing waves of violence and trauma. The fallout damage from this echoed for decades. Thankfully, God placed key people in his life, guiding him toward His hope. Since then, Ken has committed his life to paying this forward in meaningful ways.
In 2002, Ken started Maximum Personal Achievement Services, a healthcare company serving people with developmental disabilities. Over the past 23 years, the company has grown into a multi-million-dollar company. He leads over 75 employees toward their mission of expecting more than others think is possible.
Ken has previously launched Christian mentoring programs, including the 20 Minute Challenge and Pro Entrepreneur Challenge. These programs helped people unlock the best version of themselves as God created them to be.
Ken blends riveting storytelling, tangible tools, and life-changing challenges while speaking on topics at the intersection of mental health and leadership. This includes keynotes, workshops, retreats, and seminars with leaders in business and churches, as well as students at high schools and universities. He has also served as an expert on a professional panel for college students pursuing business careers.
His mission is to assist people in embracing the impossible while equipping them with the necessary tools to move forward and live out their calling.
Ken met my wife, Lezlie, at Evangel University, where they both graduated in 1993. They raised their family in northwest Ohio. His daughter Aryanna graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2017, while his son Bryce graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2022.
