My name is Ben Hinton and I am a child of God. I get to be so many things because of Christ in me. I got to be a husband, father, friend, author, speaker, and so much more. My wife and I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with our two wonderful daughters, Brielle and Charlie. We also have two adopted puppies who bring us extra love. My worst day became my best day when I sustained a brain injury as a young adult in 2013. God has brought me through what was my best day and is now my best day in hindsight. I published my first book “Let Faith Grow Running Through Adversity” in July of 2023. I share my faith openly. I encourage others to see life from God's Perspective. Today’s adversity is tomorrow’s victory. My second book will be titled “Pivot Over Panic: “My New Reference Point” is a project that is scheduled to be released in January of 2026.
My mission is to live a life that reflects our Lord and Savior Jessus Christ as best as I can. I am not perfect, I am a daily progress. I love talking with people, and advocating others who have gone through trauma, or are in their current trials. I truly believe that when we are vulnerable together we create the strongest bonds and relationships.
Some of my other life experiences are being a graduate at the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors in U.S. History. I played 2 seasons of College Basketball, I coached basketball for over 9 years at various ages individually, and in the team setting. I worked several years as a paraprofessional working with kids with Autism and life skills support. All of my experiences collectively have helped me learn who I am in Christ and what my gifts to the world are. I I want to give a voice to the voiceless. Some of my life verses are
2 Timothy 1:7, Romans 12:2, Philippians 4:13, and Proverbs 31:7-8
